Fish Hooks are short articles that explore a wide range of topics related to Christian faith and life, from a traditional Lutheran perspective but with a contemporary sensitivity and a casual tone. Expect some trivia, some history, some theology, some practical guidance, some meditations, some humor — and some things that are a bit hard to categorize. Don’t expect deep doctrinal dissertations or weighty sermons. We’re laypeople (i.e., not clergy or religious academics) who are dangling these ‘bite sized’ articles for an audience that we think might be engaged by the kind of things that interest us, addressed in a way we can relate to. And if we have some fun along the way, well that’s all good too!
